The Hands and Heart Behind Tulip Handmade

Tulip Handmade began quietly, with a simple desire to create something thoughtful rather than ordinary.

It started when I wanted to gift a friend something meaningful — something that carried intention and emotion. During that search, I discovered the Victorian language of flowers, a time when people expressed love, remembrance, longing, and hope through blooms instead of words.

Each flower carried a message, understood softly by the one receiving it. I was drawn not only to the beauty of this tradition, but to the purpose it served and the stories it became part of. I found myself thinking about the note a gift might be accompanied by, the moment it would be opened, and the feeling it would leave behind.

Preserving What Was Never Meant to Last

But flowers don’t last.

That curiosity led me to the art of preserving real flowers — a careful process where each bloom is gently dehydrated and then preserved in crystal resin, slowing time and decay.

Some of my earliest pieces were crescent-shaped pendants made from a single flower, divided into two. Two people could carry parts of the same bloom, like sharing one soul across distance.

A World of Stillness and Intention

The world around us often feels vast and overwhelming.
The world I work with is miniature, delicate, and quiet.

My days are spent with fragile petals, slow movements, and careful hands. That contrast — paired with the meaning behind each piece — is what fulfills me.

Working with flowers taught me patience and presence. During a time when I was struggling with anxiety, this process became my meditation. Some flowers, like dandelions, are so delicate that even a sigh can disturb them. This art asks you to slow down, to be gentle, and to care deeply.

More Than Jewelry

Over time, I realized Tulip was becoming more than jewelry.

It became a way for people to express what they sometimes cannot say out loud:
Love.
Apologies.
Longing.
Comfort.
A reminder that someone was thought of with care.

Many people wanted the receiver of their gift to feel that meaning too. That led me to compile flower symbolism and folklore into small booklets and refine the packaging, so every piece feels intentional from start to finish.

What Tulip Represents Today

Today, Tulip Handmade is not just something you wear.
It is something you feel.

Each piece becomes part of someone’s memory, their relationship, their moment.

My vision is to create floral art using flowers from across the globe and offer it to those searching for meaningful gifts or personal symbols. Some flowers become reminders of resilience. A tulip declares love. A forget-me-not softly asks to be remembered.

Tulip is my way of serving a purpose through art.
And if you’re here, it’s likely because you value meaning too.
